We were asked to design Issue 20 of Specialten - the “Broadcast of Contemporary Culture” which features film, music, fashion and art on DVD and print. We adapted Renner’s Futura for the mast-head and took elements from the typeface to become flowers punctuating the editorial, thus switching between the languages of book and magazine for the ‘magazine’s’ first hard-back issue.
