Featuring the office pest gone psycho, Emma Thomas’ Natural Fake project subverts the monotony of bland corporate lifestyle to produce camouflage prints. Taking the office uniform as her starting point, Thomas set up a photo shoot of various office-based scenes of people rebelling at their workstations and turned them into a repeat camo pattern for the urban warrior. She has also used a similar technique to create a carpet pattern that allows you “to walk over a microcosm of office workers”. Limited editions of her work are available from various London art outlets including Magma, Artomatik and the ICA. Dress-down Fridays have never been so fun.
