Nature Carpark

The back streets of Whitechapel are not a very pretty place by night. Although it’s a long time since Jack the Ripper stalked the area there are some pretty unsavoury types around, generally to be found in the vicinity of the Nag’s Head on Whitechapel High Street. The reason we’re so well informed about this is that Grafik Towers is in the locale. But the area’s certainly ‘gorn up’ recently, thanks in part to a lovely installation of lightboxes by A Practice For Everyday Life. They’re brightening up the carpark of the Whitechapel Centre on Myrdle Street, proving that a bit of creativity and imagination can do wonders even for a tarmac wasteland.

These three stripes were stitched down the side of the leather to give structure to a weak part of the boot.
