Cineclub

Cineclub was an exhibition, curated by Francesco Manacorda, for which artist Tobias Putrich built a full-size cinema from cardboard. Over six days various artists’ films were shown there. A Practice for Everyday Life (APFEL) appropriated the language, type and layout of old film posters and end credits, creating an announcement poster that doubles as film programme and preview invitation.

The Architects’ Journal

The Architects’ Journal, a weekly content-led magazine with a unique heritage, was redesigned foregrounding the editorial decision to highlight the ‘in progress’ nature of architectural projects. Overlapping images, reminiscent of a pin-up, evoke the immediacy of a ‘crit’ or competition jury. Relaunched 9 June 2005.
