Curator Franceso Manacorda asked us to create a piece of print to promote the project he was organizing at the Thomas Dane Gallery in 2005 and again more recently at the Slovenian Pavillion, Venice, in 2007.

Artist Tobias Putrich was building a full scale cinema out of cardboard inside the gallery space within which different artists’ films would be shown over the duration of 6 days. We created a film poster inspired by the exteriors of old cinemas and the typographic language of film posters and credits. The poster doubles up as a film programme and preview invitation which are printed on the reverse.
